1) Click on Monster Mayor Mike's Campaign Website, scroll down and click on
Campaign Contact, and send them a letter that you won't support any candidate
who invites notorious animal abusers like Ringling to Coney Island! (Mention
the ongoing lawsuit against Ringling), mention or send any of the well documented
evidence of abuse; while you're at it, please mention the killings of thousands of innocent, adoptable animals for SPACE, at NY ACC, and the abusive carriage horse industry which continues to bilk the
public and abuse the horses in their care (see my own comments, below. zelda).

2) Then click on PETA link (doesn't matter what u think of them on other issues, they
are right on the money on this one!) and either send letter as is or make your own letter

My comments on the Mayor's website:

Mayor Bloomberg has been AWOL on issues concerning animals and NY taxpayers want to know if he really cares about the things that matter to us. I will not support any candidate who is out to lunch when it comes to animal abuse.
The slaughter of thousands of healthy, adoptable dogs and cats each year at Animal Care and Control, continues unabated, simply because there is no compassionate leadership that is willing to take a stand and make all the necessary efforts to bring aout the NO KILL mandate.
The Carriage Horse Industry continues to bilk the public for their "services " while keeping the horses in dangerous and unhealthy conditions. The horses and the public are at risk as we look the other way and ignore the senseless accidents, the deaths of innocent horses and the injuries to the public!
Ringling Brothers Circus, currently facing felony charges for beating their elephants, like the carriage horses, is another anachronism that has no place in a modern, more compassionate world. New Yorkers object to the abuse to which caged and chained animals are subjected and the deprivation of all that is natural to them, just for the mighty buck!
We want a Mayor who is responsive to these issues!
