SAMPLE MESSAGE:
I've just learned that live pigs are to be vivisected then killed this Monday, April 27 at North Dakota State University. I respectfully beseech you to call a halt to this lab. Like millions worldwide, I don't believe innocent animals should have to suffer for human medicine, particularly when accurate, humane alternatives - such as SimMan and TraumaMan - are readily available and already in wide use.
Please spare the lives of these pigs by canceling Monday's lab. Please save additional lives by implementing non-animal alternatives for future training exercises. Thank you for your attention and consideration.

ALERT: Help Stop the Exploitation of Indonesia's Primates
BACKGROUND: http://www.buav.org/chainofsuffering/index.php
PLEASE CONTACT: Indonesian Embassy in United States, http://www.embassyofindonesia.org/contactform/
President of Indonesia Dr. H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, president@ri.go.id
Indonesian Embassies: ottawa@indonesia-ottawa.org, indonemb@kbri-canberra.org.au
SAMPLE MESSAGE:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am shocked by footage recently obtained in Indonesia by the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection. Despite legislation, trappers are cruelly kidnapping wild macaques, then selling them for use in grotesque experiments. These animals are dreadfully mistreated – ensnared, overcrowded, separated from their families, denied proper nutrition and enrichment, and forced to endure stressful transport and mishandling.
Our fellow primates are as capable of perceiving pain, fear, hunger, loneliness, and stress as we are. I respectfully submit that it is unconscionable to treat them in this way. I urge you to enforce an immediate ban on the capture, breeding, and export of macaques who are destined for the research industry. Indonesia's treasured wildlife – our fellow sentient beings – are too precious to be tortured and destroyed in this callous manner.
Thank you kindly for your immediate action, [YOUR NAME, COUNTRY]

ALERT: Determine the Legacy of Wolf 341F
BACKGROUND / ACTION LINK: http://ga4.org/campaign/wolf_legacy
ALTERNATE MESSAGE:
I write regarding America's wolves, specifically 341F, a female wolf from southern Montana who was recently found dead. As you know, wolves occupy less than five percent of their former range in the lower forty-eight states. Without a sound recovery plan, wolves will never overcome their alarming decline.
Without wolves, Colorado's wild places will continue to wither under burgeoning and sedentary populations of elk and deer. In fact, without legal protections, wolves in the northern Rocky Mountains will never even make their way south to Colorado.
I respectfully urge you to expedite the development of a recovery plan for wolves in the southern Rockies, and to reconsider your decision to remove legal protections from wolves to the north. Thank you for your prompt action.

ALERT: Make Sure the Obama Administration Restores the Endangered Species Act
BACKGROUND / ACTION LINK: https://online.nwf.org/site/Advocacy?JServSessionIdr010=550yz0anq3.app27a&cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=878
ALTERNATE MESSAGE:
Congress recently passed a bill granting you special authority for 60 days to overturn the previous administration's regulatory rollbacks to the Endangered Species Act. I urge you to take this opportunity to restore strength to the Endangered Species Act and to renew our commitment to America's wildlife and our natural world by rescinding the previous administration's last-minute actions to weaken habitat protection.
Thank you for your immediate action.
